Air conditioning plays a pivotal role in regulating temperature. Air-conditioning maintenance tells you that after a long-term operation of the air-conditioning, the air-conditioning chilled water, cooling water system, refrigeration host and fan heat sink inevitably have problems with scale, rust and dust:

Corrosion: The cooling and chilled water of the air-conditioning system is corrosive if it is not treated. If ordinary steel or iron nails are placed in the water, rust will appear after a few days. The longer the storage time, the more serious the corrosion. The inner wall of the equipment often falls off due to corrosion, or even perforation. The rusty slag that falls off will block the coil and reduce the refrigeration effect. At the same time, the existence of corrosion will greatly shorten the service life of the equipment.  

Scaling: Inorganic salts dissolved in the water crystallize out in the pipeline, and scale is formed on the tube wall of the heat exchange surface such as the condenser, which causes the heat exchange efficiency to decrease, and the cooling effect decreases. In severe cases, it decreases by 30%. At the same time, if the hard scale increases, the electricity consumption or fuel consumption increases, and in severe cases, it increases by 35%.

Biological sludge: due to the dirt, silt, humus in the water, and the biological sludge formed by bacteria, algae and other microorganisms and their secretions, the pipeline will be blocked in severe cases; and the dirt and sludge will affect the heat Exchange efficiency, high power consumption, resulting in high-voltage operation, and over-pressure shutdown in severe cases. All these have seriously affected the normal operation of the air-conditioning system.  

Therefore, the problems of scale, rust, silt, bacteria and algae in the central air-conditioning system will directly lead to the weakening of the refrigeration capacity, shortening the service life, reducing the reliability of operation, and increasing the energy consumption, which will lead to the increase of operating costs. The Shanghai Central Air Conditioning Project believes that in order to make the central air conditioning system operate in an optimized state, it is necessary to conduct special chemical treatments on the cooling water and chilled water systems of the air conditioning system: removing scale, rust, slime, sterilization and anti-corrosion treatment.
