Double squeeze of air conditioning energy efficiency level

According to industry online statistics, in the first half of the year, the output of domestic air conditioners in my country was 61,854,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 5.22%, and the cumulative sales in the fiscal year was 64,972,300 units, a year-on-year increase of 3.64%. Among them, the contribution rate of inverter air conditioners has exceeded that of fixed frequency air conditioners, with a market share of 52.54%, and the sales volume and sales of inverter air conditioners have increased at a rate of 8.3% and 16.2% respectively.

In terms of product types, Zhongyikang pushes total data that inverter air conditioners accounted for 53.6% of the retail volume share, an increase of 18.3% year-on-year; fixed-frequency air conditioners accounted for 46.4% of the retail volume share, an increase of 15.4% year-on-year. Among them, the two-stage inverter air conditioner had a higher year-on-year growth rate in the first half of the year, reaching 429.1%. From the perspective of the market prospects of inverter air conditioners, Zhongyikang estimates that the retail sales of inverter air conditioners in 2013 will be about 81 billion yuan, accounting for more than 63% of the country's proportion, and it is expected to reach 80%-85% in 2016.

Monitoring data shows that in the first half of this year, except for the slight decrease in air-conditioning volume in the price range of RMB 2701-3000, products in other price segments have achieved different degrees of growth. Among them, two price ranges of RMB 3501-4000 and RMB 4001-5000 have been observed. The increase was relatively large. The cumulative retail volume increased by 48.2% and 47.6% year-on-year, and the cumulative retail sales increased by 48.1% and 47.4% year-on-year.

In the competition between the two major brands at home and abroad, the volume performance of the two is quite different. In the first half of the year, the share of retail sales of foreign brands in the air-conditioning market was 13.8%, and the share of retail sales was 15.7%, a decrease of 0.2 and 1.1 percentage points from the same period last year. The share of retail sales volume and retail sales of domestic brands are 86.2% and 84.3%, respectively, and they have the right to speak in the air-conditioning market.

The data shows that in the growth pattern of different levels of markets, the fourth-tier markets have increased significantly in the first half of the year, of which retail sales increased by 23.3% year-on-year, and retail sales increased by 27.0% year-on-year. And after the withdrawal of the energy-saving subsidy policy in June, the four-tier market still achieved substantial growth of 32.1% and 35.8%, which was significantly better than other markets.
